MISSION STATEMENT OF THE PHILADELPHIA NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPERS ASSOCIATION (PNDA)
To
Improve each Philadelphia Community and the Neighborhood that we help restore by formalizing a dialogue between Government
Agencies, Local Residents and Neighborhood Developers to shape mutually beneficial policies.
PNDA
should have the ability to:
-Expect better coordination between City Departments
to provide a clear path for Compliance and Performance.
-Have influemce similar to Neighborhood
Groups in matters of development, variance issues and zoning compliance.
-Show influential force
by way of numbers of members in matters concerning development approvals and changes to Zoning and Code issues.
-Organize members for group development projects through strength of numbers and capital.
-Share
Material, Technical, amd Contractor resources in order to build better at discount.
-Negotiate
access for the presentations to the group by banks, community groups, and construction related industry representatives.
-Raise awareness to the group, before the issues are determined, so we can have input discussions which affect local
developers.
-Stay ahead of the technical curve by forming stragetic alliances with Zoning Board
Members, Neighborhood Groups, Dept of License & Inspections and progressive industry representatives.
